A guard tour is an electronic system composed of hardware and software which aims to control human activities, in this case specifically the tours of patrol officers or security guards. The hardware must be rugged and reliable for such control and the software must generate a variety of reports and be easy to use.

Besides tracking the steps of the patrol officers or even the supervisors, our patrol system prevents the mistakes that usually occur, since the wand interacts with the user, informing the time to start each tour and if it is being done correctly. It is a proactive way to avoid tours being missed and to increase the overall security. Consequently, the end user feels safer, the service provider improves its service and the site becomes more secure.

The reports generated by our PROGuard software are comprehensive tools to manage and evaluate the security guards and it helps the service provider to improve the business relationship with his customer. There are several reports to choose from and all can be configured to display the information needed for each case.

PROGuard software, which is used to program Guardus readers and generate reports, is highly user-friendly. Because of the way it was developed, it allows more flexibility when programming tours. A different tour time each day of the week, mandatory predetermined sequence of checkpoints, different tour schedule for holidays, and guard identification prior to initiating a tour are just some examples of programming options available through our software. All of these attributes are responsible for PROGuard's success in over 70 nations and its translation to more than 12 languages.

The Remote-i line is ideal for isolated locations distant from the computer where Guardus downloads its data. The Remote-i devices allow all of the data stored in Guardus to be sent immediately to your computer. That way you can monitor your guard's activities wihtout having to collect their wands in order to download. It's possible to send Guardus data remotely through a telephone line or by means of a network using a TCP/IP address.

Does your company have a central alarm station or has this type of service? With Connect-i you can integrate your Guardus tour system with a central alarm station. You'll receive a notice at the central station every time a tour is performed correctly or an alarm message when a tour presents an error. All of that in real time! Connect-i is of easy installation and compatible with the best alarm systems in the market.

Our PROGuard software generates seven different types of reports that allow selected users to view the complete information about the tours, they focus on tour errors, visit control, frequency control, statistics or even a complete registry of activities are all a click away from each other. It's possible to filter the beginning and end dates on of all the reports, receiving therefore, just the desired information.

Collector is a portable downloader that stores and transfers the data generated by Guardus without removing it from its original location. It's a great alternative to the Connect-i systems. With a Collector, the supervisor can go to all the guard posts and download the information contained in the wands. Collector has a non-volatilo memory that can store the data of 500 different wands and allow direct download to the PROGuard software. It's the best option for companies that are looking forward to simplifing its operations, optimize time and cut expenditures. Collector GPRS has a cellular GSM modem built-in that transmits data collected from Guardus wands to the central station. This allows you to control all tours and patrol officer activities in real-time. Collector GPRS needs a GSM-SIMM chip(any provider).

Master Button will tell the supervisor if each round has been conducted correctly. This information can be read anywhere and at anytime. By touching the master button with a Guardus the supervisor will hear different tones depending on the accuracy of each round that has been carried out.

Numeric Button Keypad, or the event wallet, allows the user to add more information to PROGuard-i's reports. The keypad contains 12 buttons from 0 to 9, CLEAR and ENTER and is carried by the guard as he conducts his tours. By touching the Guardus on the appropriate buttons he can enter individual events.

All events are represented by a number or combination of numbers which enables the guard to register a series of events such as vehicle control, e.g. number plates, meter readings, weights & volumes. These events will then appear in the PROGuard-i reports.
